Match Serbia - WFCC Wednesday, 3 August
For the first time the WCCC program was enriched by so strong rapid chess match (25 minutes + 10 seconds for each move). The top 5 grandmasters from Serbian rating list (Robert Markuš, Ivan Ivanišević, Miloš Perunović, Bojan Vučković, and Branko Damljanović), together with the coach of Serbian Olympic team GM Slavoljub Marjanović, gladly accepted taking part in the WCCC. Vučković joined the WFCC team, lead by Polish grandmasters Kacper Piorun and Aleksander Miśta. The captain of the WFCC team John Nunn, once in Top 10 grandmasters of the World, put himself on the fourth board.
